Delta Chi & Proud Of It
Delta Chi @ UWA
The Delta Chi Fraternity was established in 1965, on the then Livingston University campus, and reborn on the campus of The University of West Alabama in the spring of 2009. Eight men answered the call of Delta Chi and where initiated as the Founding Father Class of the then Colony. On September 24, 2011 the Livingston Chapter of The Delta Chi Fraternity became official when it received its charter. Since 2009, over 60 men have been initiated into the bond of Delta Chi here on the University of West Alabama campus and the fraternity has been rapidly growing ever since.
Brothers of the Livingston Chapter are active in many aspects of campus life, community service, and philanthropy. On Campus, brothers are student leaders and strive for excellence in the and out of the classroom. Brothers are Orientation Leaders, Ambassadors, participate in intramural sports, members of multiple honor societies, members of Campus Activities Board, STEM, Livingston’s Early Alumni Development, members of the Scarlet Band from Tigerland, in the Choir, members of Housing, and much more.
We, the brothers of the Livingston Chapter, believe that our values based brotherhood, one that is for a lifetime, is redefining the college social fraternity.
